1.0.4.0 Has released stating it fixed the DCing at game creation, However I am still having the same problems as before trying to start a game. I have attached two video links, the first showing the problem I have in-game (after the unskippable cutscene has ended) and the second showing the problems I have in the menu trying to start a second game afterwards.
