Having the same issue. To compound that with the fact that the offline and online characters are separate lists, this is a bit frustrating.

TWITTER: The hotfix is now live and corrects a few crash servers and clients. There still might be a few issues with game creation during the next hour until it stabilizes. Thank you for your understanding.

I'm having the same issue as well. I have played no problem up until about 40 minutes ago. Now I cant log on. It fails at steam authentication. I have tried everything I know of to fix it but nothing works. I believe this is something on the developement side. Wolcen Developers please help. I love your game and would like to play more with my online character.
