Cant connect with friends

It seems like theres an issue when playing with more than 2 people. I was able to connect to one friend and play but our 3rd couldnt connect. they would be in the group but the PLAY button is locked out. We then remade the group, the odd man out created the new group and my friend was able to join but the same thing happened to me this time. In the group but the Play Button is locked. Any Ideas? Would be nice to play with a full group

We are having the same problem, but we cant even get a 2 man group going. Also have a pending friends list request that was accepted but still says pending and nothing showing on the friends list.

I have played through ACT 1 without a Friend list. I've now since tried reconnecting rebooting all kinds of stuff but the conclusion is that it doesn't fill up.
People can whisper me I cannot whisper back. People can invite me and I get the pop-up I can accept but once in the party im stuck in the menu. cannot actually join the game.

I also keep getting the error.

GAME SERVICES TIMEOUT
Your Connection with the game service timed out.

I'm assuming it has something to do with that but it's rather annoying not able to play with friends.
