CHECKING GAME CRASH

Hello, i have problem, i was putting gem in my chess when suddenly the game crashed so i tried to relaunch it but when it came to checking game version it crashed again and now it keep crashing all the time at the same moment.
I tried to check files on steam, to reinstall but nothing works, to reboot but nothing works.

Do you have some idea from where the bug can come and what can i do to fix it ?

Checking game version": We're working on the impossibility to connect a character after using the projects related to item improvements. We can't resolve this issue without a hotfix but this is now one of our top priorities and we hope to resolve it this week.

Was the same for me ...

This week? Just disable it for now with a hotfix and then try to figure out why it goes wrong. Then we can atleast play the game again.
