Deleted offline characters problem - SOLVED! - Forum

The problem seems to be, that my wolcen user folder (%user%\saved Games\Wolcen) wasnt on C:\ (system drive) but on D:\ (Data Drive) and this folder isnt used by the game anymore since last patch. But it also doesnt create a new one.

Solution:

Manually create a new user folder in C:\ (C:\%user%\Saved Games\Wolcen) and copy your existing user folder (with your offline character files) into it.

Thats it!

For me now Wolcen uses this folder and loading/saving characters is possible again! Yeayyy!

It seems to work for me, I first tried with a folder "parties enregistrées" as the original one, it didn't work, so I tried with "saved games" and it just worked. Thank you.

Thank you very much @ Fali. Lost 6 hours of play because my path isn't also C:.

VERY important:

The game will only use "C:\users\XXX\Saved Games\Wolcen\savegames\"

If you have a localized windows e.g. a German one and your Same Games folder will call "Gespeicherte Spiele", than this isn't working. You have to create the folder names in English!

Fine, the forum is bugged also. You can write an answer (Reply is shown), but if your emails isn't verfied yet, it won't be saved.
