One of the most annoying issue so far with the game when playing its online mode is that the game keeps suffering from desync issues. This is especially annoying when fighting elites & bosses such as the devourer, the exoskeleton and the like of them as far as what is displayed on your screen isn't representative of what the server registers. The end result is that you often die because of AOE that you re away from on your screen but that aren't registered at the same spot by the server.

This is of course extremely frustrating and people won't tolerate such things in a diablo-like. Players death must be the result of their faults not the result of server related ones.
