I have been unable to play online at all so far. I missed Thursday and started trying to play on Friday, however the few times I was able to connect to an online game it was unplayable due to DC or character not being written to library.

Most of the times I was able to get on was with my friend hosting the game. We had to do a roundabout way of I invite him to my party (because I show up as offline in his friends list most of the time, despite what steam shows) then promote him to party leader and have him start the game. I know I have DC'd because I cannot hold space to skip cutscenes, yet I can play with him. However, once we pass the intro area and start in the Sviri caves my character is completely naked, no armor, weapons, skills, gold, etc. (usually I still have the justicar lightning sword skill). If he quits the game then I am disconnected from the server and can't make any progress as whenever I need to talk to someone the conversation will not progress and can only be repeated infinitely. Regardless, no progress is ever saved to the server so I will have to start over everytime I load my character. Even if we so play a bit and I get off first there is still no progress saved to my character and any loot or gold picked up is lost forever.

When trying on my own to play online I get one of three scenarios:
1. The game fails to connect/load or times out, resulting in not being able to play.
2. The game loads but I am not able to skip cutscenes (which indicated that I have DC'd), after sitting through the 5 minute intro I follow mavis and talk to her, but the game never progresses to let me climb the ladder to continue the tutorial area. (most common)
3. The game loads and I skip the cutscenes, I climb the ladder, kill the enemies on the ledge, and proceed to the next area with the other children of Heimlock, however after about 20-30 steps (about far enough to pass the first group of enemies) I get an error 0 and I'm kicked back to the offline main menu. (least common)

I have been able to play offline everyday except for Saturday where even offline games would not work. I have checked windows updates, video driver updates, game file validity, reinstalled the game, rebooted everything, compatibility modes, etc. and found no working solution to the online problem.
