Extreme frame drops and crashes in the green bluffs (and sortlike areas)

Dear Dev team,

another report... I keep getting crashes when playing against purifier armies in the green bluffs,
I tried to scale down all my graphics dramatically (inluding textures which I suspect was the problem). Usually the game slows down to the point that it exits to the cmd screen. The same thing still happens when handing in expeditions, like other people also reported.

Meanwhile I wonder whether these things are read at all. The amount of bugs and crashes have gotten worse since the last patches. I am close to giving up on this game.

Just to make sure, these crashes occur on expeditions, and only with purifier armies in green bluffs. If another mob type is run there it is all ok. It happened again today. The game crashes really hard and I can't exit the game anymore (I can only summon the windows underbar with the win key, or use ctrl alt del), but I cannot make the game stop anymore. I run a Nvidea 960 gtx, i7 HQ 6700 quad core, 16 GB RAM, and SSD memory. I scaled down all my settings to the lowest possible in order to have a playable experience in general, even though my specs are not the minimum required specs.
