You should do your homework before trying to play smart. France has an official 35h a week work rate, but that's only for the basic jobs, like waiters or manual workers. Higher rank jobs can go from 40 to 50 hours a week. For instance, I'm a french teacher, and me and my colleagues have to work around 45 hours a week (including sundays) to do our job correctly. The myth stating that "French are lazy" is just a stereotype the same level as "Americans are all fat" (some are, some arent, same logic here).
