



Multiplayer Desynching
I cannot believe this issue has persisted from original wolcen into the bloodtrail. I want to play this game online multiplayer with my partner but it's almost impossible.
During online play, one or more players in the session will start "skating" around the screen with their character locked in a particular rotational orientation. This happens intermittently during play and the direction of facing can change. This is only apparently on the server side or when another player is observing you on their screen, it is not apparent from your client side.
In practice when your character's facing is "locked" and you don't know it, skills that must be "aimed" such as anvil's woe, railgun, flight of gavinir and many others will seemingly pass directly through enemies because even though it looks on your client side like you attacked where you meant to, your character actually fired off the ability in a locked direction.
The persistence and intermittence of this issues makes playing many kinds of builds in multiplayer that require precision targeting rather than large AOE templates extremely unsatisfying.
I love this game, but my preferred game mode is online with my wife and friends, not single player...and its getting to the point I just can't play the characters and builds I want anymore because network play just seems fundamentally bugged.
