Make deaths more punishing.

If you die now you lose close to none progression. At max you lose 20 minutes of production farming. If I die I don't mind.

You deliberately trying to completely kill off the game?

Until they fix all that is broken, balance all that isn't balanced leave stupid ideas like this in the cupboard.

I have 100k HP, 83% allres and the dire juncture passive which is currently double dipping in all mitigation for the delayed damage, so the biggest raw damage I can take is 100,000 / 0.17 / 0.4 = 1,470,588 (not counting block, because I don't have 100% block chance on this char, so the worst case scenario is this, with 75% block efficiency and 100% chance it would be 5.9 million)

And I still can get one shotted randomly. Either bosses can do more than 1.5 million damage hits or they can randomly bypass mitigation. Both options are kind of stupid.

I don't really like the idea of getting punished for dying due to overtuned and bugged mechanics.

The current system is alright as it is! The "3 revives" system is cool and being brutally ejected from an expedition when you run out of lives is deliciously disgusting... i'd say! :D

Anyone asking for this should be given an exclusive "all your present and future characters are now hardcore characters" flag on their account by the devs. Your character dies, it gets deleted. Everyone benefits. They get punished as they asked and we laugh. Win-win.
