When equipped the effect of this staff "Freeze and Burn chance become Shock chance" will change both Ailments to Shock but the chance to inflict Shock is set to 0%. If you convert a spell over to deal Lightning damage(Consuming Embers-Fratricidal Reunification) the shock chance once again is set to normal.
