Fatal Pact question

"Fatal Pact: Ailments you cast are also put on you. At 10 stacks, they consume and grant an effect to you and allies for 7 sec. Stasis grants 25% movespeed. Curse grants 30% resistance. Weakness grants 30% damage. DoTs grants 30% max health and force shield. If specced, grants 30% chance to increase number of ailments on self by 1 per proc."

If I am taking use of all of this, but only in solo play, is there a point?

With these buffs, do you end up coming out as a positive if you are just reapplying the curses to yourself as soon as you cleanse them?

Edit: I'm wondering now if these buffs stack? Since they only last 7 seconds...

Depends on your build. If you apply curses and weakness all the time, it's some (not too noticeable) buff. Movement speed and max health / ES aren't that useful IMHO.

AFAIK, in solo play the skill is currently mostly taken for rage based builds. The ailments on yourself count as "hits" for rage generated on being hit. You can in fact get almost endless rage this way. On the other hand, getting enough rage isn't too difficult anyway...

Hi,

I play sorcerer and the ailment inflict damage straight to my life. I don't have much life as a sorcerer and it's not viable. Am I missing something ? If my shield could take the damage that would be useful!

Same kind of problem with the unique staff Zapstick, electrocution damages hit my life first.
