We really need to be able to see the character sheet stats from the Gate of Fates menu. You have to commit the points before leaving the menu, thus locking them behind the full tree respec cost. It really sucks assigning a node to have it barely do anything for your build (this may also just be due to the broken nodes and such) and you never had a chance to see its changes.

This is really critical in a genre that is all about fine tuning characters. Similar design philosophies should flow throughout the game, frankly, such as showing average damage, health, and resistance increases/decreases between items on hover.
