perhaps when hovering over dropepd loot there is a details popup with some of the basic information, for example price, level of item, gem slots...

and arch type e.i Mage, Brusier, warrior. ect. having to pick every singe rare item up only to dump 80% of it on the ground every time the inventory is full is an (another) annoying speedbump.
