I think there are two good ideas to this suggestion:
1. include the dye names upon hover over (I mentioned missing tooltips in a recent post, but forgot about the dye names).
2. Allow players to see which dyes they are missing, by graying them out. This would also be a very nice addition to the transmogs.

Totally agree. seems like an oversight is all but the little things can easily make a break an experience. sick of stopping to pick up the dye items lol

I have a lot of dyes, but like the OP didn't know how many I was missing or which I was missing, so I made a Excel spreadsheet and am going through picking them all up trying them again and ticking them off as I go.

So far I know I have 102 dyes yet my in game count is 122.

Btw does anyone know if there are the full 14 Grey's as a lot of sets I am at 8 or 9 and just missing the grey version, so far I have only 3 different greys recorded.

Also hold onto duplicate Rare's as they are damn rare or at least they are up to exped lvl 170
