We REALLY need legendary and unique item drops to show on the minimap; and the game should have launched with this.

I simply do not understand why this most basic feature is not implemented given the importance and focus on loot drops. This most basic notification is critical to any type of ARPG because items often drop behind us (especially with DoT builds), and people who don't play with sound never hear when an item drops off-screen.

Please add this easy to implement yet critically important and necessary feature to the game. It will make a huge difference.
