I dunno what it is, but I feel like since the shield is considered a melee weapon, we should be able to use it more with possible a Dash attack into the usual shotgun shot. Similar to how you dash with the shield with a melee weapon and slash with other weapons, but instead of course shooting with your shotgun pistol. Given dash attacks can be turned off, it wouldn't hurt the people who don't want it, but it would be a pretty cool edition.
