Quality Of Life does not exist for melee

Gameplay for melee class is terrible. After you weakened the melee class a year ago, Wolcen gives us no satisfaction. I played minions for a while, but let's face it, Wolcen is not made for such a game either. That's why I took a long break from Wolcen. You promised golden mountains, miracles on a stick, and I believed you. When bloodtrail came on, I immediately created a melee in my stupidity or naivety that I would have a good time. It was another mistake. My fun ended at lvl 47. I am not able to do more content. There is no survivability, dps. Rage management is ineffective and block is a joke. I gave up Wolcen and again to come back yesterday. There were a few patches so I hoped the melee game would get better. I fooled myself again. I tried to do 2 simple mandates and it was real hardcore. I was dying, I was dying .. and you guessed it I was dying. I got so pissed off that I bought Last Epoch. Of course I played melee and .. I fell in love. For your own good, I advise you to play Last Epoch to see how the mellee class is built. In a word of explanation. When I was buying your product at the end of 2019, I was wondering Wolcen vs Last Epoch. I trusted you. Don't let me regret this decision. In wolcen playing a classic tank with sword and shield does not make any sense. Block is not effective, survivability is nonexistent. For this there is no dps. Without a lot of dps, rage wears out quickly. Even though I have a build designed to generate rage, it is still missing. Wolcen is a hack and slash but by playing melee you are playing souls like game where casual elite mob can be an unbreakable boss for you. It just doesn't make sense. Now back to playing Last Epoch. Maybe you can do something to make the melee game enjoyable. Then I will return to Wolcen.

Yesterday I was angry, today I am satisfied. Whatever you did in Bloodstorm, you did it right.The difference in the feeling of fighting yesterday and today is big. Thank you for your work.

Again, nothing is as it should be. Again, there is no dps to kill regular mobs. I died again on the first elite mob I met. You have to put a lot of heart and love into melee because it just doesn't work and that's it. I don't want to waste my time. The game is supposed to be fun and not irritate. It cannot be that the melee player quits the game after reaching 50 lvl because making content becomes so difficult that it does not make sense.

I think melee simply doesnt do enough dps especially 2 handers. The damage for 2 handers simply needs to be doubled. Apart from that i dont understand the gripe about survivability. My build is centered around 2 hander blocking and with massive health regen, ive only ever died on act bosses. But seriously the dps is nothing, i will be sitting there never taking damage and just slamming a boss for minutes on end. I made a shadow based caster with some minions and primarily use that beam from the sky ability and it shreds bosses to bits in seconds.
