Thoughts to help theorycrafting

I love the flexibility and countless build possibilities, but there is one massive unnecessary hurdle that we face in discovering viable builds; lack of transparency. So many skills and runes have such vague explanations that it takes difficult testing just to figure out basic information. How much damage do these effects actually do? How much of a damage % increase are staged skill options? I know excessive info can be more of a burden to some (especially new) players, so this could be an option to toggle, set off by default.

Also, I would love to be able to save gates of fate selections for easily swapping builds, even if it cost the max essence to reset. I know saving gear sets would come with a lot of technical hurdles, but I think saving passive selections should be significantly easier while providing better utility.
