Hello there !

Well everything is in the title : does item's quality influe on crafting result ? For example, does a 5 star quality item has more chance to roll higher values on modifiers ?

The hiden question behind is to know if it is worth to spend ressources and time to improve an item quality before crafting, taking the risk that the result of the craft will be unseccessful ?

As the cost of both crafting and improving quality are quite high, i could not observe a lot of examples and i am not sure about which way is the best.

I would take any information that you had, personnal observations, or even better, a dev passing by and explaining how it is meant to work exactlly ;)
