When using lightning spells I always seem to endup having a DoT on myself that shocks me for lightning damage. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else come across this?

There's a node on the tree that inflicts ailments on yourself when you inflict them on enemies. Just remove that node, if it's not that then it's a weird bug

I'm also seeing this. I haven't selected any nodes that would damage me from lighting spells.

You using the zapstick unique? or any other weird unique
