Gold bug

I'm sure this has been posted already as there are a LOT of people playing, but I unstacked my gems and noticed one of them kept a stack value. When you put them back together, and separate them, it doubles it yet again. If the game is to have any economy, this should be fixed asap

Hard to fix something if they don't have an explanation as to how it occurs though. With any luck people who have used it to genuinely abuse it will be punished.

Yeah I just found this. It's a shame the bug is as simple as two items stacking and unstacking.

I hope gold in this game isn't critical to the multiplayer experience :L

EDIT: The gem's value remains even if you drop it and pick it up, or if you socket it and unsocket it. Nothing seems to reset the bugged gem's value.

I hope they will ban people who are exploiting gold online. They will run a query who has the most amount of gold and bye bye. People are spending money to ruin the fun. Mind boggling

Banning people for abusing a bug is kinda hard, but I see some sense in that. But also they just could wipe the gold from anyone that has used that bug/exploit. And if they can't fix it go with a banwave on the second query, because there are always people who try these bugs just for fun and the people who abuse it will do it again anyways. But we will see how the devs will react.

I wonder if they are going to ban these people. I bet thousands of people have abused this bug by now. Are they going to ban all the people that exploited the magic find stacking bug? All the item duping people? All the gold duping people? They will lose half of the population.

I bet they will just reset the gold of the people that have abused this bug. It is not like they are dll-injecting, using Cheat Engine, using external mods/trainers or are hacking.

Edit: grammar

Why on earth would they take such desperate actions in a non-competitive game, cheats is a double edged sword, they only hurt themselves by taking away the challenges that makes the game fun.

No, they should focus on adding content that the game sorely needs.

As for your concerns, simply avoid them, public matchmaking is not working at all so your chance of running into one are slim.
