Story Progress Lost

After completing Act 1 already, and on a quest of Act 2, in which i was supposed to ''listen to surroundings'', but the game never had any more interaction, so i decided to exit back to main menu and restart. However, when i got back to main menu and clicked start, I was brought right back to the very beginning of Act 1, and have no way of choosing which part of the story i want to jump into. I am playing in Offline Mode, really hope this thing gets fixed if it can..

I experienced the exact same issue. Reached the point of act 2 where you have to talk to Zima, only there was no objective mark on her and couldn't talk to her. So I decided to go to main menu too. Same exact thing, at the very beginning now. As an additional bug though, all my characters spells are broken, enemies are immune to all my spells. Only thing that deals damage is the regular attack.
All in all, effin' ridiculous. Am just wondering if you play online, would that solve anything...
