same here in chicago when can we play online and how do we fix it

You really should go to their twitter page as thats where they are posting all of their updates with regards to the server issues. This is their latest from between 1 - 2 hours ago :-

We're finishing to fix the database issues caused by the amount of simultaneous connections,and we're making sure that all character data have been retrieved. We will most likely need a bit more time before we can bring back the servers online and we will give you an ETA asap.

Also, if your friends are playing then they're probably playing the game offline.

Offline mode is working but expect bugs, missing characters and etc.

Most of players are now refunding on steam.

Online work probably tomorow.

The worst is level of communication with devs.... one tweet per 10h or less and thats it. Second Bliz$$zard.

Guys Just Chill u can play offline just fine and enjoy the game, it is fun for now, just be patience they just did not expect so many people to buy the game. I am sure they will fix it and this game will be awesome :) (sorry for my bad english)

Yeah everybody stop "crying" you only bought a product that doesn't work, come on! Also for the fanboi's who obviously chime in yes Diablo and POE and other game had server issues when they came out, and it would be stupid to think that one studio could learn from another studios mistake and do better right?? Everyone just needs to calm down! If you go and buy a chicken dinner and it's undercooked you shouldn't be angry if the cook tried really hard to make it well right?

I for one have really enjoyed not playing the game I bought, I frequently spend money then don't utilize said product even though I want to as a cathartic release.

I bought the game today, and i am playing it offline so far and enjoying no bugs so far i dont know how about later, I will play online when it will be ready, it is your opinion and if u dont enjoy it just try to refund the game and buy something else.

how many???? 3 humans at work there i think, they will solve this when diablo 4 be released
