I agree with this at least for a little while i got like 3 hours played this morning and havent been able to play saince sadly about to do a refund and get it when they get these issues fixed :(

Yea I agree. This influx of new players will die out in a mount anyways, just make it so we can transfer our offline chars to online for a mount and most of the issues is fixed.

Yes, online and offline are seperate characters. And also, they need to make it interchangeable, not just offline to online. My online character is >level 50 right now at end game grind. My offline character is in act 1 still, level in the 20's. Doing just offline to online will not help everyone here.

They absolutely will not and should not allow offline characters to be transferred to online; the reason they're separate is because offline characters are stored locally so that you don't need an internet connection to access them, however that means it's possible to alter them illegitimately and create hacked god characters.

An option to copy online characters to offline just to mess around with leveled characters rather than starting from scratch would be nice though.

I'm not trying to grind a new character already to end game, I got my online character to end game right now over level 50, having to make one offline would be a pain at this point, when I didn't even really get to experience the end game for more than an hour

they have said they were fixing it multiple times and still cant get past steam authentication so it really needs to be fixed than!

It doesnt matter what someone does to their character to me. It doesnt affect me. This is so foolish. Are you even aware of games like GRIM DAWN which allow this and there ARE NO PROBLEMS...

well i am talking about the current situation, should not be a permanent option.. i fully understand the exploits that could be made offline. But there is a LOT of people who has paid for a game they cant play as intended

Agreed, its garbage that we couldn't play online all this time and the time we spent playing a game we enjoy can't be moved online. Its a waste and a bad look. ITS NOT OUR FAULT that you underestimated server requirements, despite seeing so many games do just this very thing time after time after time. Thanks for wasting my time, this makes me not to want to spend more time playing the game. Unacceptable imo.
