Freezing In Expedition

Constant freezing after a few minutes after jumping into an expedition. I updated the drivers thinking that was causing the issues, freezing continued, changed servers made no difference at all, scrolled through each and every one of them to no avail.

I read a different post where the amount of spell/abilities being cast caused the issue. If thats the case it's out of my control. I enjoy the game and have had no issues apart from some missing items in my box that never came back but this is making the game quite literally unplayable.

My system is absolutely more than enough to handle this game at 1440p max settings, like I said the issues started today. I've even played in a group of 3 with no such issues in the past. Anyone have any info?

also experienced this since the patch 1.0.4, cant finish any expedition.
fixed mine by removing my unique belt, the one with "100% chance to apply mark of impurity on hit". figured that item was making me dIsconnect/freeze when i use bleeding edge on large group of enemies.
try removing some items/passives with complicated on hit effects maybe it will work

Hey thanks for the tip. This is just an early testing with a full run actually done. Which is the furthest I've been lol. The issue was spot on as far as I can tell, I removed the unique item "Genesis" Helm which grants Bulwark of Dawn and an AOE Shadow Nova upon stacking weakness or curse 10 times per enemy. I have the belt that marks enemies as well, but that has never caused me any issues. I'll check back in once I get a couple more clears in.

Quick follow up, some items are definitely causing the freezing issue.. be wary if the uniques as they may be the source of problem.

yesterday, there where freezes in act1
yesterday, some hours later, i played act1 without any problems!
today, act2, freezes are back again.

tested gear right now - thought it could be the first legendary item, awarded at end of act1
it's not!
freezes still occur when nothing but one rare catalyst was equipped
i run a crit chance based build

I got that belt but no problem with bleeding edge but Arms maester(proud reprisal) did it for me.... if u have that node try without it!
