What am I missing? What's the point of unlocking lvl 187 if you're unable to complete the lower level expeditions?

T12 affixes can roll on lvl 110 items. The only break point worth mentioning is item lvl 151 because t9 affixes can only roll up to lvl 150, so you will have at least t10 affixes on a lvl 151 item. But apart from that what's the point of unlocking lvl 187 if your character is too weak for it?

i am at 175, i wanna finish 187, but unfortunately for me, the game keep crashing 3rd expedition, i am a completionist, i wanna be done before tomorrow d3 season start,,,,,

i can face tank the boss, my damage is not out of this world but i can finish 3 expedition in 30 or so minute, but everytime i get to boss fight 3rd expedition , the game crash mid way, it happen to me only when i am solo,,,
