Edric was my first time getting downed, but I still killed him first try. I'm level 51 now and my only death so far is to the final boss.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time, man, but I don't think Edric was that hard. Obey the mechanics and you win.

Granted, I was using a caster ailment build at the time. Maybe he is harder for melee.

i agree with most of the replies eldric is easy af lmao killed him more than once. 1 time on my offline level 71 char when i was going through the story for the first time and then again on my online char that im working on currently my first time fighting him on my offline char i went down i believe once or twice and the got the kill but for my online char after experiencing the endgame with expeditions and the modifer rolls and the being 50 levels under leveled because the xp scaling is scuffed i can say eldric is the least of your concerns "Nerf Edric right now or lose your players!" literally get a grip chief no one is going to stop playing wolcen just because eldric might be slightly overtuned people would actually stop playing wolcen because of the mass amount of bugs and the less than optimal launch the game had. "reported for being toxic" so calling someone a bad player because they cant beat 1 boss and that player has the audacity to claim that if they dont fix eldric the game will "lose players" as if a large portion of players is going to stop playing wolcen because of eldric and actually taking themselves serious is toxic? lmao again get a grip chief have you ever thought idk changing your build? resetting your attributes? resetting your passives? using diff skills that would have more synergy than what your currently using? literally you my friend are wasting space on a good forum for feedback of this game if your going to complain about anything complain about an actual problem like the xp rates as i mentioned people are level 77-80 (max level being 90) and doing the hardest difficulty expeditions in endgame which i believe is (187) thats literally being 100 levels underleveled and your sitting here complaining about eldric.... like its a boss fight is it suppose to be a walk in the park? have you quite literally ever heard of a challenge chief? you or anyone else can call me toxic if you will idrc because i provided you with ways to actually beat eldric and not just only roasted you for being a doodoo player but yeah like i said stop whining about something that is irrelevant because if your going to whine and be a baby atleast whine and complain about things that actually need fixiing an example of that is the scuffed xp rates

It seemed to me Edric was the simplest boss of the game, which should not cause problems. Boss 2 act is much more difficult. I advise you to simply revise your character, how you can improve it or change something, you can use other skills, remake the tree or change the main characteristics. I went through the game with two different characters. The first was invested in ferocity, critical attacks in a tree and used an automatic turret. There was no difficulty with Edrick. I just had to run in a circle while the turret was killing him. The second character was invested in survivability, hp and a block in a tree, and Edric was killed by simply facing him with an auto attack. Experiment with the character, the game allows it. Fist boss need nurf.
There's no sence in make this boss at this point of the story so hard. He is really hard for new players at this time.

After almost break my computer i kill Him... But my option at the time was:
I kill him now, or i will ask refound... And i kill him.

Eldric phase 1 : stay in his back (not hard)
Eldric phase 2 : stay in his back (not hard) and/or stay between 2 fan shape area.
Eldric phase 3 : in his back, dash up or down when he jumps, dash in when he uses his AoE (not hard)

His jump in p3 is the most annoying part, i'm not perfect i get downed 2 times in the fight but it was still quit easy. (played ranged level 18)
The second boss and the last bugged one are far more annoying to me.

I mean no harm here but ... try harder ;), keep cool and have fun.

Pretty much facetanked him in all 3 phases with my first character not spending any points in toughness. I was expecting oneshots and a hard fight, but it was actually super easy. Idk. I moved, when something seemed like a really heavy attack, but that was only one or two times.

Up till now campaign is far too easy. I am a fan of games like Diablo 2, where you would have serious troubles with bosses if playing selffound (I've seen so many deaths in HC at Rakanishu, Andariel, Duriel, Diablo - those were actual bosses). Please don't tune enemies even further down. Give players a challenge.

If you feel Edric is too hard, there is already an easy solution: Fight him in story-mode where encounters are easier.

Everyone had issues with edric in the beginning, whats the point of having an easy boss... that takes the fun out of the game just get gud.

Yeah, I'm sure devs will rush to nerf the boss because you gave an order to do it "NOW" otherwise they will face the consequences... and your wrath, right ? ;P Same goes for reports, no one cares if you are clearly triggered for no real reason. Yes, the boss is quite a difficulty spike but you can always set lower difficulty in game, boom, problem solved ;)

God i hate this "blackmailing" mentality! "do this or lose players!", "do that or i'll play POE instead", etc...
No one gives a damn if YOU stop playing this awesome ARPG and this is not how you'll get the attention from the devs! (or anyone for that matter!)

Aside from that, the game is quite easy and when i finally encounter just a bit (just a BIT) of challenge, (like the act 1 boss was on my first character) i am actually pleased! Grinding a bit is always an option, and is a pleasure if you just enjoy playing! I just had to redo the last zone once to gear up and get a bit of XP, and came back to easily kick Eldric's butt!

Please don't nerf! This is how Eldric got destroyed by my second char on 1st encounter, it's far from being too hard a boss, just a pleasant fight! Don't turn it into a punchbag more than it is already!

i am sorry, there is a lot wrong with this game, but the act bosses have been actually done very well!

I really dig the multiple stage fights. Adjusting and going forward. Beating those bosses was fun, even though none were all that hard.
Dont rob yourself of a challenge.

I agree with this. Edric was not too hard, and Lambach took me two tries for not cueing in fast enought (thick skull, I guess).
