This may be why the devs dont respond. Because people like you with such a powerfully negative attitude. (To the guy in this thread with the powerfully negative attitude)
Yes the game did not deliver. I would know, I pledged $125 on kickstarter in 2015 back when the game was meant to be open world, and your choices in quests affected your character appearance/apocalypse form. I had high hopes for their bold goals.
So I understand why you're negative, but you should also understand that your thoughts, feelings, responses, reactions are all a choice. You can choose to be immensely mean, or you can choose to not be chuffed and be nice about it. If your excuse is, I react this way because the devs did this to me, releasing the game this way.. Well let me tell you with all honesty you are ignorant to the power of your own selfcontrol. That excuse is a false excuse.
Realise that the devs are people with feelings, emotions, goals and aspirations. They had high hopes for their original goal that I mentioned above, and when they realised they couldnt' attain that goal, that alone that must have been a crushing blow to them. Their feelings, wellbeing, confidence etc. Then they open up about it and get nothing but negative energy from everyone. Kick a person while they're down, they will struggle ever so much to get back up.
Also you should understand that negative energy breeds negative energy. If a guy tells you 'you're a dick' to your face, you are instantly flooded with negative emotions and may become that guy in retaliation. That event will likely affect you for days.
Yet If someone tells you 'hey you look really happy and healthy, like you'd a great guy to be around'. What do you instantly feel? Happy, and healthy. That event would also affect you for a few days in a positive way.
A massively negative reaction will create negative outcomes. When an entire fanbase acts somewhat like yourself, the game devs are going to have a hard time fixing their mistakes. So look within your own self and realise that every person who reacts like you do, slows down the progress of this game immensely.
