Balance this all out Wolcen!

This game would be 100 times better with a simple bit of balancing. One anything sorc is far to squishy to be viable higher level especially when threat seems oddly broken.
FIx threat issues where mobs target lower level toons in a group above all else.
Re-balance mobs adjustments when you go from a single to even two people in group. The scale up way to much at least their HP.
Balance skills and figure out why things randomly don;t hit.( is there a hidden mechanic like accuracy we don't know about?)
Please do something with matchmaking like anything that is actually public matchmaking system.
I wouldn't even bother messing around with balance on skills or anything until you can figure out how to make expeditions actually viable for more than one person at a higher levels.

Right now this game is mostly a singular build that can actually clear anything high level.
there is a lot more but these basics I think would be amazing changes.

I want to love you wolcen so let me damn you!

They need to work on just fixing the broken parts and not worry about whos hitting end game content that "they didnt design for us to hit". As a LONG time gamer, Im here to tell you, players will break every system you make, and since Wolcen is just another ARPG, we have been trained for this for years. Path, D3, and the list of those before have trained most people to break this game down in a matter of days, not to mention those who got to play the beta for 2 years before its release and all the videos that they produced. Wolcen left 1 skill and a very detailed and not very flexible build path for us to use to achieve fast results, now they want to focus on THAT instead of all the broken nodes, game glitches and bugs that currently exist that, if repaired and mended, might actually allow a whole different set of builds to work. They didnt nerf Bleeding Edge builds, they gutted them. They also handed out a global nerf in the process with the crit damage nodes/crit nodes. It also seems that the maps have a hugely reduced quantity of things to kill, which also makes drop rates lower.
The only thing they gave in return was a Summons buff. Big fucking deal, guys.

Now we have a large range of players who have completely open Champion stats, all the gold and mf find bonuses, and the huge section of the skill tree to work with, builds that have insane gear on them, and are still able to semi run high level content, while the rest of us flounder and go "why did you forsake us?" Every player out there is sick of BE builds, but it at least alllowed us to have fun and run the game while they hopefully fixed the problems that exist. The only good thing to come of this was the odd bug that could seriously set this game apart, the fact that you can modify the lame excuse for uniques built into the game. And by lame, who thought that "adds % health" was a good idea on gear that has NO health on it, and cant be slotted to add? Ill play a little bit, hoping that by this weekend and the drop in players they are currently seeing, that the dev team will realize as players we can and will go seek life elsewhere. All the streamers who are still showcasing this are NOT giving up good publicity on the game, and those are guys who are paid to think faster and harder than others to make their living, by means of breaking down a system, giving you a build you can run and play.

Every player out there makes a farm character. Once you have gear and requisites out of the way, THEN you try new things to have fun. Whats fun now? Getting the same dyes over and over? searching a map for 1 mob to get a boss to spawn so you can exit without losing the progress? Personally, I dont mind a little grind, but when it becomes an epic event to find something to progress, I will quit and move on to something that I feel I can progress in. Luck shouldnt play such a huge factor in a game.

Thanks for the solid input. I have never used a BE build and I didn't use it to get through campaign so I am glad you posted with your thoughts on that side of things and the lower level content. I skipped that over because it was not game breaking or a real issue for me. Which I know a good amount of people were not the same. I have to disagree that they only left 1 build especially through the campaign as I was basically sorc gear with a few rogue peices for dodge etc...I personally thought through campaign the freezing effects and all that was a bit op combined with healing of Bulwark of Dawn. I wouldn't really change the campaign or difficulty of it at all other than rebalancing some of the skills and passives. Now I did die a good amount but that was mostly learning boss fights and fucking up pressing buttons. 90% of my deaths was my failure to not fuck up.

I do get where you are coming from though. Hopefully the devs can figure this out in a timely manner.

very well said, i totally agree.

In diablo3 which i have played for 3k+ hours i play only barb and i love the whirldwind build, due to its speed and efficiency.

I mostly bought wolcen, cos after 10years it started to get a tad boring and the graphics are old too.

I didnt like the BE all that much, but it was what was clearing stuff best. I for one when i play want to be as efficient as possible when playing and to make progress.

Anyway, i agree with what ur saying ;-)

Am i the only one who just enjoys playing / building chars and doesn't give a damn if some other build is more efficient or can clear higher content? I just go my own way, tweak my build, progress as i can if i ever get stuck in my progress, well, i'll just move on to the next character!

I find it so depressing to know that some players follow a build guide in a game where all the fun is... building a character!

***Key features:

Free character development
Wield a great variety of weapons and find your own playstyle thanks to their unique stances and combos. In Wolcen, there is no class, only your weapons set the rules for your skills types.*

Are you even playing this game?

Yes, 2 chars so far, a "gun mage" with a tanky poison golem, and a 100% melee brute - kratos style, and enjoying it a lot - next will be an elemental battlemage then a summoner - not sure about that order tho.
