Can we please have the option to cancel matchmaking when we go public for our games? It literally locks the game up at this point and all you can do is exit the game entirely

Set game to private in the settings. The purpose of going public is for people to join you. If you don't want people to join your game, then set it into private.

I realize this. I wanted to play with other people but it never finds a match and after 10 minutes I would simply like the option to cancel matchmaking without having to exit the game entirely.
