Is there any reason to add some points into it?
I am currently trying to create some viable build with Wrath of Baapheth and i wonder if it can increase overall dps from this active skill.

The thing is
1. crits was nerfed a bit
2. Wrath of Baapheth has interesting modificator: Lumbering Blows (Reduces critical damage, increases damage)
and 3. I like Wrath of Baapheth animaton.

So question is, does increasing attack speed increase dps here, or it just make animation faster?

Please dont tell "no, cuz crits still good". I curious only about does attack speed infuent on dps amount with certain skill or not

Btw, what do you think about my build?

I personally take care of attack speed through equipment and passive points like the 50% + at the start!

On equipment the attack speed bonus is a flat numer like for example 50+ but agility will give you only % as far as i get it so my stat distribution is always like 5-7 on toughness and rest is on secondary (3) or secondary and third (2-1) to prevent it from decreasing by lvling up.

Thanks for sharing your opinion! I still not sure about using agility as primary stat and and how it affects on dps.

Hi, I tried attack speed build with Agility as primary stat, using default attack with 2 handed weapon. It hacks fast as hell, looks and feels very well, and does absolutely no damage :) I scrapped the character by level 50 as it became useless. Dont do it.

i use an agility toughness spread of 50/50 on my infinity blade build. IB feeds all your willpower abilities, and having it attack fast keeps the regen fast. It's been able to clear up to 127s pretty easily. I know some folks that have gone as high as 140s with it. The damage falls off at that point. (could be gear related) The mob clear is good, but boss clear struggles a bit. I used this build primarily to progress thru the expeditions as IB isn't very gear heavy, and from my testing, doesn't have any gear requirements.

Agility is important, but in most builds, it's better provided thru gear, rather than directly. In some cases, you'll want faster cast speed, as you'll be sitting there trying to get your rotation out before going back to spamming your ability, and the casting gets you one shot. I was thinking of trying to get it to work with frostweave providing my crit. But i need to get to about lvl 80 before i can switch over to it, i need access to some of the important survival nodes on the gates of fate
