Level 72 after patch unable to survive

I run an ailment build, after the patch I'm getting smooth one shot repeatedly. I was steadily working up and capped out at 127. Fights were longer but I was able to dodge and survive. Now I'm unable to last in a 103. From what I've been reading Salvatory Anchor and a heavy pop build with a unique belt is the only viable way to progress. Why pidgeon hole everyone into requiring specific nodes and gear in order to survive non end game content?

put every point into toughtnes, scale crit and dmg% from items and passive tree.

after patches w/o changing anything i was stuck in 130(before easly doing 187).

after changing build im able to do 170 pretty smooth. tested 187 - did aswell but took for me 10min. ive still some crappy gear.

simply as fk.

Not gonna give you my build because I don't want it nerfed next week, but my advice would be to use more freeze and slows to keep monsters controled.
to be honest at end game even with good resists (80% damage reduction its good enough imo) theres times that I get one shotted.
I also like to use the talent "Branded Burst" from the Exorcist Specialization. helps preventing one shots, and give you time to react either to run away or drink potions.
Hope I did help a bit.

and most important, what u need to build is block rate at least 90% and block eff at least 65% (75 is max)

so far ive 94 BR and 71BE with only 62k hp and im able to clear 187 in 10min

Maybe it is not just only about 2 specific items. Maybe it is just about grinding for better gear after the "who the fuck made that mechanic to block EVERY dmg" builds were fixed. I am a caster with shit gear but solid res and about 70k life and only die to the lag in lvl 150.

Maybe if they nerf ailments next patch servers become playable again. Or give them a cooldown for each stack. That would be awesome. Cant wait for it.

think about it like you have been driven to work for the last couple of weeks, was easy to get there. Now you have to walk or maybe some can take the bus. It takes longer, it sucks due to all the shit faces you meet, but you will get there. Somehow.

What ever build you play, be sure that you are not the only one. WTF
