so got a Envy's Denial 275 dmg..a nice upgrade for a level 40 toon , but it says I cant unlock - roll sockets on it..cause its locked.. W T F ???
its still an upgrade..but..lot less of one , since my hammer had 2 decent jewels in it ... why is that... makes what I guesse should be special items , alot less desirable.... I dont get it..

The devs listened and are working on uniques to be viable at high levels. Hopefully this'll include sockets.

I am also really hoping that we can have socketable uniques.
Given that gems are often an integral part of many build strategies (to up ailment or DoT damage, for example) the non-socketable uniques means many of them become unplayable, unlike legendaries which can be rerolled and fully socketed up!
