Does this game fill a niche that no other game titles occupied?

I'm trying to find answers to my questions.

1) This company is trying to create a game that fills a niche that no one occupied, but I can't find the niche. What is the niche that this company is occupying that no other game title has? For example, Path of Exile and Diablo 3.
2) This company hasn't answered my question on 'why has this game not been made yet'.
3) This company is trying to find holes in game titles but i can't find out where the holes are that they filled. Where is the holes at that this company fills?

Seems like this game takes a lot of ideas from other titles for example, shrines(same as PoE), same item names as items in Diablo 3 and Path of Exile, Passive tree like PoE, Cyclone(PoE). Where is the holes at that this game occupies that these titles don't have? Instead of taking ideas from these titles? Where is the originality?

Why are you trying so hard to get an answer to this question. Why not just play the game and see how it answers your questions after playing it? It's cheap, and I'm sure your own thoughts will mean far more than someone else's.

Probably because it's a fair question. What niche does the game actually serve, what about this game would justify spending the 40.00$, or two-thirds of Triple-A release prices, versus just playing something like Path of Exile which is FREE and has a development team that openly shows the value in their product. I personally can relate as I'm trying to find general information about the game to figure out if it's systems are actually interesting or if it's just going to be a boring single play through. What's the gameplay loop? Why would i come back? Does the endgame exist? Is there planned content beyond this base game? There's little to no information out regarding what the 40.00$ includes other than what looks like a D3 clone with Path of Exile features hamfisted into the game play. So if you're going to promise something "original" or "never before seen", you should probably include more in the description of the game or highlights than just the rotating passive tree, because really that's the only real new concept shown.

This is the logic that leads people to buy games from companies and wasting their money, and more importantly time. Imagine giving a company free money(millions of dollars) for a game that isn't worth playing. Why am I trying so hard to find answers to my questions? Imagine how much money could be lost within the population as a whole, and more importantly, time wasted. I want more insight before I spend $40. My questions still remains unanswered because of low quality posters like you.

For myself, the niche is a simple one.
Yes POE is free, but I am sick of running map after map and having to level characters to even get to maps. Graphically average at best.
D3 was great, eventually.
Visually better than POE but after a while how many GR or bounties can you continually run? I stopped around season 13.
Wolcen, is cheap, $40 for me is meh.
Visually better than any ARPG Ive seen, gameplay is fluent, similar to D3.
So this fills the niche that I need until D4 comes along, this may even be better, who knows yet?

The combat feels really refreshing for me, D3 and POE move to slow for me. I love the mobility this game offers in terms of rolling around and melee combat. I'm very fresh to the game tho. I backed the game on kick starter but didn't really do anything with alpha/beta. I really enjoy the story. I love that I started out as a melee style hero and slowly started to become more into a mix with magic. The combat evolved with my play style which i really enjoyed. Nothing seems to jump out as a super unique identifier for this game but I'm still enjoying it. Once I get a complete play through and get to end game I'm going to revisit this.

For me this game adds to the existing genre, for me it fills the void of a fun experience. Not one that only ties to this genre but to my game-time all together.

It's fun to play and I so far enjoy the gameplay-loop and story, the story for me is a big part for any ARPG although it is not what makes me stay in a game, but it is what gets me hooked. Sure it is not perfect, but I have not enjoyed a game like this in quite some time.

What I also had in mind when joining the game for the first time back in Alpha was how the development were progressing. I am for the time being very satisfied with the content and execution of the content(game). I like the atmosphere of the game, the game-play loop and overall I am enjoying my time in the game. It has a feeling over it that I have not

I think your questions is fair and needed, You are correct in questioning why you should play this game and spend both money and time.

Note: I have not yest finished the campaign nor reached endgame in the 1.0,
