Patch Notes 1.0.10.0 and Wolcen team status

Hello everyone,

Before sharing the patch notes with you, we want to communicate about the present situation in France and what it means for Wolcen in the next few weeks and give you some news about our team. First of all: everyone is fine!

But starting today at 12.00 CET, all travels in France are now forbidden except under exceptional circumstances or mandatory reasons.

We've already taken measures to protect Wolcen employees and ensure that most of our team members can work from home, but that's not possible for everyone. Since we don't want any of our employees to be put at risk, they will be staying home for an unknown duration.

We're still committed to providing you the best experience possible with Wolcen and we will continue to do as much as we can, work on the next league, fix bugs, but the overall pace will be inevitably slowed down.

We're also freezing the recruitment process while the confinement remains.

To end on a positive note, we would like to invite you to the Geeks WorldWide channel on Twitch on the 22nd of March to follow a Wolcen stream with none other than THE David Brevik, the creator of Diablo, as a special guest!   • Added jeweler inventory interaction: You can now equip an item directly from the jeweler panel.
  • Added jeweler inventory interaction: Improved right click and left click handling in the jeweler panel slots.
  • Added jeweler inventory interaction: You can now move an item directly from one panel to the other.
  • Being disconnected from the game for inactivity will now move your jeweler items in your inventory instead of deleting them.
  • Fate-Adjucatrix Zeitgeist will no longer be visible to players who joined a group after she appeared.
  • Fixed an issue in Chapter II preventing players to complete the step “Reach Helmshire”.

  • Fixed a bug causing the max player health to display an incorrect value after leaving the Aspect of Apocalypse.
  • Fixed a bug leading the right-click of an item in the inventory to be considered as a left-click.
  • Icons from skill buffs are now correctly displayed on the left side of the screen.


Technical.png

  • Enhanced save pipeline for cosmetic data.
  • Fixed a weird ragdoll effect when killing some enemies.
  • Fixed server crashes.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to have balloons instead of heads when playing the game on Proton.

  • The rage gains from being hit do not trigger on taking Damage Over Time anymore. This issue led to scenarios where your willpower and rage could end up locked with an infinite transfer.
  • Fixed a bug that made bonuses from stacking mechanics on the Aspects of Apocalypse way more powerful than they should have been.
  • Gate of Fates: Fixed a bug leading the damage taken from the "Dire Juncture" passive node to apply knockback effects a second time.

  • Increased damage gained with levels (+20% at max level).

Anvil's Woe

  • The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this skill is increased from 210%-230% to 240%-240%.
  • Crater Maker: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 25% to 30%.
  • Stormbound: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 25% to 30%.
  • Radical Shake: Cooldown decreased from +5s to +4s.
  • Voltaic Arc: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 50% to 60%.

Arctic Spear

  • Increased damage gained with levels (+48% at max level).

Consuming Ember

  • Increased damage gained with levels (+32% at max level).

Evasion

  • The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this skill is increased from 100% to 120%.
  • Reduced rage cost for the skill from 100 to 90.

Parasite

  • Increased damage gained with levels (+33% at max level).

Slayer's Flurry

  • The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this skill is increased from 60% to 70%.
  • Kindly Stopped For Me: Chance to spawn a ghost increase from 3% to 5%.
  • Superdense Metal: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 6% to 8%.
  • Cosmic Ambush: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 10% to 15%.
  • Effortless Slice: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 6% to 8%.

Stings of Krearion

  • The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this skill is increased from 75% to 90%.
  • Storms Past: Chance to spawn a ghost increase from 5% to 15%.
  • Flying death: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 10% to 15%.
  • Whitefield Arrowheads: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 10% to 15%.
  • Focused Shot: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 35% to 45%.

Thunderstrike

  • Increased damage gained with levels (+40% at max level).

Wrath of Baäpheth

  • The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this skill is increased from 160%-175% to 180%-180%.
  • Knotted Ends: IThe damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 35% to 50%.
  • Lumbering Blow: The damage bonus granted by your weapon for this modifier is increased from 50% to 100%.

  • Fixed an item duplication caused by stackable item manipulations in the trading window.
  • Fixed a bug causing stackable items to display an invalid quantity in the trading window.


Endgame.png

  • Fixed an error making it impossible to use Legendary items in the Upgrade Quality project instead of the Upgrade Rarity project of the Dark Market.
  • Fixed a bug causing Reverie Incense Expedition to not work in multiplayer.
  • Fixed a bug preventing players to finish an expedition when a group member exits the game after entering the dungeon.
  • Fixed a bug preventing an expedition to be completed if the party leader exits the game at the end of the expedition.

Awesome Patch! Many bugs especially both of them:

Fixed a bug preventing players to finish an expedition when a group member exits the game after entering the dungeon.
Fixed a bug preventing an expedition to be completed if the party leader exits the game at the end of the expedition.

Are finally fixed! Thank you very much for all the effort! I really enjoy your game so far so keep your head up and keep going :)

thanks for the patch :) maybe you still can rethink this league thing...i would really prefer a different approach, like you can for example do a "self chosen reincarntion" for some benefits every few months as a league like event if you chose so...this league stuff is just meh if you ask me :) i understand that it helps a lot with replayability but just take diablo 3 where you basically never get into the benefit of your overall paragon level - sure you just couldn't start a new league but then a few friends have, all find it kinda meh but still do it ^^

When you promised balance I was expecting the real issues to be addressed and not pimping some skills. Who cares how much damage Evasion does?! Nobody would care if it did 0. Stings of Krearion? Even if you doubled the damage it'd still be a waste of skill slot. I wasn't expecting much and was still let down... tremendously.

Fate-Adjucatrix Zeitgeist will no longer be visible to players who joined a group after she appeared

But no mention of fixing no icon displayed on a map when she/he appears.

On a kind note, be safe be well to any and all in the present climate.

Even if you added 200% on elemental skill base damage, it wouldnt even come close to BE or Jugg's damage. Doesnt matter how much you buff a skill, if your gear doesnt support elemental build, its no use.

Another week, another patch. Bleeding Edge still top DPS skill. No fixes to Gunslinger Brand or Infinity Blades modifiers. Infinity Blades still doing joke damage in comparison to other skills. And so called "fix" from patch notes 1.0.8.0 still not working:

Fixed an issue in the computation of the Sparking Dart passive node. - are you guys even testing your game after doing some changes? This passive isnt working properly! Device skills and Skills with base lightning damage deals 200% damage multiplied by number of power charges - i have 100 power charges so my lightning skill should deal 20,000% damage right? So completely naked only with staff my Thunderstrike skill shows 800 tooltip damage, with this passive and 100 power charges it shows 980 tooltip damage, 180 is 22.5% from 800 so its nowhere near 200% or even 200% multiplied by 100 power charges! Good job :)

200% multiplied by 100 is 20,000% correct? If yes then: 800 * 200 (200 is like 20000%) = 160,000 damage, not just 980 at full power charges. Is calculation wrong (famous percentages) or description of this passive node is wrong?

No to leagues! We want to play the content with our owned characters,

Come on, League is the opposite of end game, since is nothing more than starting the game from the start again. How you can even call that end game?

Hear what 9,9 out 10 players are saying to you guys. We're tired of leagues and seasons, it's, no matter what you say, against the genre ARPG. Christ don't ignore what your costumers are saying.

If this is Unavoidable, please make the new content avaiable on standard mode, but give us the penalty of can't interact with league's players and can't figure on league's leardboards, this way everyone will be happy.

The main point of why "I" dislike leagues is that you are forced to play it for the new content. If it's avaiable to standard mode also, so I have nothing against it. Don'nt force this kind of thing on people please.

And for the people who enjoy leagues, I'll be very pleased if you can do your thing, but i'm also want to do mine.

So give standard mode the option for the new content also, just make us unable to play with league's players.

Exactly this! Plus every 3rd Expedition with Wrath of Sarisel is missing trade shrine in the end.
