I will be taking a short break from this character to play Co-Op with a new friend, this will be my solo/main project but I will not be spending straight hours atm :P

The effort is appreciated, if it helps you to plan the build there is already a simulator

First of all, thanks for the very nice build guide! :D
Any idea when you are ready to post an update of the continued passive skill tree? At the moment I guess I should grab the +ailment damage and toxic damage.

There is an updated(maybe not final) version in the comments on some lvl 90 try-outs, I'll see if I can find it :)

Hey there,

Great guide! been following it and its been really good so far. I am just not entirely sure how to prioritize my stats. Anything specific in terms of a priority list for stats to look out for my gear? I have a lot of straight up % material damage and I'm not sure if that scales with the actual ailment damage. Should I be looking for ailment damage over raw material/toxic damage?

Absolutely. Raw ailment damage + poison ailment and poison proc chance is the best. For defence; Bruiser armour(Health and Resistance). It's amazingly defensive when you get the siegebreaker perk

Do you have any plans on making a section in the guide for best gem setup?

Created: 4 years, 2 months ago

Should I still go with 5wis 5toughness? also is parasite really that useful, 90% of times I have no pet from it because there is no good ones in the map or so

Yes, eventually. Atm I just go with what I feel is most needed, swapping between +health, poison, resistance and whatever sockets I get :P

You want an 45/55 % split between toughness and wisdom, with wisdom being a few points higher. I'm thinking of trying a pure-wisdom setup later IF possible, but it's just so much extra health with the +health% perks.

There are a few maps with useless parasites, that's true, but most of the time you should be able to get one of:

Harvester, Raised Martyr, Beta Spitter/Screamer, Tormentor, Blind Prince or any spawner-type.

You can parasite most elite/rare mobs as well, which are usually the best source of big bois :)

Thanks for sharing this, this build is so fun to play!

I tweaked it a bit, compared to your build, using Infinity Blades instead of Annihilation, working towards the toxic explosions faster. Seems to work really well towards speed building.

Infinity blades is one of my favourite spells, love it! I am thinking of doing a build around it next, when I'm further on this one :D

You know what? I'll actually try to use it instead of Annihilation as well. With the runes being more leaning towards ailments and stuff, and having a lot of toxic from gems it should be viable! I'll get back to this

Infinity Blades is great as long as poison is one of your highest ailments :D I'm probably gonna use it instead of Annihilation as well, will need more testing though, but never running out of willpower is sooooo nice

I find it a bit faster to kill bigger groups, but i have some issues with elites when they're on their own. Could be, because I'm not that tanky yet though!
